Alleria is actually pretty close to high population, but the lowbie areas are barren. The only new characters are alts or people who have characters on other servers so they PL like crazy to catch up to the higher-pop levels (which are all more fun except for the occasional grind). Also, the Horde have less players for some reason. I wanted to play them from the start, but a certain guild decided otherwise.

The trick is to stay away from the group quests until the high 40s because you can actually get experience faster by doing solo quests in different zones.

Can't wait until 45 when I can PvP effectively with the 40-49 level range. Weeee! I *love* stabbing stuff. Except warriors. They spank me....and not in the kinky fun way, but the "OMGPWNDBBQ" way.

The ring finally came in and it looks perfect. I'm sure Caitlin will have some pics up or otherwise be more than happy to flaunt it for you.

I got sucked into the Arathi BG in WoW last night...I spent 3 hours wtfpwning people. Its apparently one thing to play a rogue, and another thing to play a rogue well.

The theme of the month is Pretension, by the way.

Making the Horde character has already paid off for no-waiting-to-fsck-up-yonder-l00z3rz. I like it. Hopefully some of the big PvP names on the server will remember my Druid enough to get me some bonus points and into their PvP guild (a necessity, really, for getting the worthwhile gear...unfortunately). I'm just not always digging the responsibility towards grinding in a dungeon for someone that I barely know when I never ask such a thing myself. Being pulled away from PvP to do such a thing is painful. It feels like babysitting instead of hobbying and I don't even get paid to handle their shit.

I'm sure I was going to make a very intriguing post about something or other, but was laughing at Tyler's post instead.

I was laughing at it this weekend originally, but then I forgot, and it was funnier the second time.

Those silly Russians!

Tiny machines are cool, and also scary. Six orders of magnitude is a pretty decent effect.

In other news, the U.S. is going to destroy the environment to pump out some little city that's just going to get flooded again. There's also going to be an investigation into the way the disaster was handled...by the people that are handling it.

I really think that Mother Nature is just trying to take a chunk out of that country. "Rebuilding" by dumping a cesspool of material into one of the largest rivers on the continent or flooding an already damaged lake is just going to piss her off on a whole new level.
