The Alliance twinks are becoming endangered because of "Global Laming", pretty soon the only place you'll find an Alliance twink is in a history book. It's not too late, don't let the Alliance twinks go the way of the Mammoth, for 3 gold a day, less than the price of repairing your armor from MC, you too can encase a young twink in armor with blue text... Or maybe I'll just keep the gold, because I'm broke.

So tempted. I have an unnatural craving to stunlock people but I already don't have enough time to play my Druid. I'd really like to get the PvP purples for rank, but the time required just isn't going to happen...it'd be nice to get some sort of reward for holding a rank as opposed to burning up the chain and then quitting like most people do.

/quote anyone want to bet that the level 70 warlock summon will be one of these mounts? /endquote

/nod But then again, if it weren't, it'd just be another pet to kill us.

I am SO hoping that druids get another animal form...that isn't a flying form just for stupid level 70.

I normally have great respect for the BBC since most articles are well done, in addition to remaining neutral - like a news source should be.

This guy, however, saddens me with his presence.

"I like games because I'm weak and lazy," one adolescent tells me as he stands in line for 3 hours to see the latest Nintendo offering.
Perhaps he was being ironic, though I suspect not.

You, sir, are gullible. If some reporter asked me a question such as "why do you like videogames" while I'm in line at the biggest game expo in the world I would give him a sarcastic response as I'm sure would everyone I know.

I still find it impossible to fathom why playing video games is so unhealthy when the basis for that unhealth is research done on "passive couch potatoes of yesterday".

Where did these couch potatoes go? Oh, still here. Yeah. So, TV is okay because we already know it's bad and we still watch it - but video games are bad because they can potentially cause the same issues...

/me gets out DDR mat

Also, I find it amusing that people so negatively report on video games when there are so many large social events surrounding this supposed antisocial and violently dangerous pass-time. They sell alcohol at E3, even. Has anyone gone on a shooting rampage?

While we didn't get to pilot a flying mount, we did see some flying around the compound on the other side of the Dark Portal. Trust us when we say that they look much cooler in motion than you would initially believe. In terms of form, the one we saw resembled a winged, dragonlike creature composed of wispy smoke. Unlike a helicopter or VTOL aircraft, like Harrier Jumpjets, the flying mounts won't be able to take flight from standstill. Rather, you'll have to gradually ascend from a running start by hitting the jump button as you gain speed.

More.

I've been browsing some of the headlines for the consoles to see how the eternal battle is going.

So far it's pretty boring, as usual, but a bit of description from a Time reviewer caught my eye:

The controller becomes a racket, and I'm smacking forehands and stroking backhands. The sensors are fine enough that you can scoop under the ball to lob it, or slice it for spin.

There's the full thing, linked originally from /.

There are some interesting games and technology coming out...unfortunately, it's spread across four different systems, each $300+.
