In the 80's, the game TAG (The Assassination Game) was apparently popular enough to be made into a movie. They played with suction dart guns back then, before everyone went insane and started killing their classmates with real guns.
Since the darts never really stick and are a bitch to reload, the socks are much deadlier.
Speaking of: watched episodes 1-3 of Gunslinger Girl. It's well-animated and has guns...being fired by small anime girls. It has plot and depth, too, but that's just icing.

The makers of Silent Storm and Spellforce now have the license to make Stargate SG-1 games.
There is potential.

Eventfull day today! If you count all the petty things.
Started off by watching the remaining 2 episodes of Stargate season 7. You can tell that they were close to stopping the series at that point because of the rushed nature of it all. Very neat special effects, though. Also didn't evoke the same massive emotional response as the Masterpiece episodes, but set up season 8 and left room for a movie and hopefully some god damn GAME SPINOFFS. Not that I'm waiting for an X-Com type game with the Stargate stamp, or anything.
I could easily complain about how much work sucks, how stupid the Americans at work are, how lame the hardware is, how moronic some agents are, how useless the software is, how little we get paid, how horrible the hours are, how putrid the office is, how confusing the processes are, and how horribly some customer's get treated...but, after being unemployed for so long, I still prefer this delicious brand of large male bovine excrement to that horrible state of self-loathing uselessness.
Then I ended up back at this Place Where I Sleep, made some heart-burning cheese-rice, made a subtle mental note to subtly get Caitlin and her biological expertise to subtly explain to Shaerin that leaving dirty dishes in a sink full of water overnight is undesirable, and incovienient.
I watched El Mariachi in my underwear and was pleased to see that it was much better than Once Upon a Time in Mexico and displayed continuity with Desperado.
5:20, and still no beta email for World of Warcraft. It's entertaining the way that people will instantly change character ideas the second they hear about how 'amazing' one class is over another...especially at the beta stage. It's likely the heart-burn rice, but reading the WoW beta forums and listening to beta testers complain about the beta bugs and beta issues that are severly hampering their ability to beta play the beta game, gives me a burning acid feeling in my chest. Someone pointed out that it was beta and that beta bugs and beta issues were the whole point of beta testers testing the beta test, but the betards continue to beta post. Has someone already come up with "betards" or can I be clever?
Is it alright to start a sentence with a time like five twenty? Better to spell it over using actual numbers, probably. I was thinking of elaborating on this tangent but I keep hearing this TAP from either Shaerin's room, or the apartment above their room. It sounds like someone flipping a light switch, but it's not constant and doesn't have a pattern. It keeps interupting me and my fragile five-thirty-four in the morning thoughts.
I should get some sleep...afterall, I have to work tomorrow. Today is my half-weekend so I can sleep in! It's not really mine, I guess, since I have to share it, and it's really as much a weekstart as an end.

The Online Campaign has started.
Surprise!
If you have time/interest to play or don't have your character ready to go, email, IM, or PM me (at www.theinnergeek.com). Players can start at pretty much any time, but it will take me at least a couple days to setup any new players.

It's time to bash Planetwarcraft again:
If you look closely at the image, you'll notice that the orc female has sharper edges, different lighting, and no shadow. She has been composited into the image. Why? What is the point? You couldn't use the original image to make your grand observation that ORCS ARE UGLY? Did you just steal that image and not realize someone had edited it? I laugh at the thought that someone may have gone to the trouble of altering the image and sending it in to your PotD archives in order for you to post an obviously edited image, likely to prove that you're even more useless than previously determined by your colourfull commentary and constant bitching that Blizzard is "stalling" by releasing MORE CONTENT.
The End.

You are: THE JOKER!
Which Batman Villain Are You?
brought to you by Quizilla
Sure, I like poison, acid, and toxic boiling poison acid, but that doesn't mean I'm THAT much like the Joker. Similarities between my fantasies of beating various heroes to death with items such as giant monkey-wrenches, or a purse full of horseshoes, and actual actions taken by the Joker, are purely coincidental. It's not like I'm pale with twisted goblin features, and I don't ALWAYS giggle when I'm (un)fairly defeating someone. Finally, when have I ever toyed with someone in a cruel and excessive plot just for my own amusement?
Useless, incorrect web-quiz. Now back to my search on ebay for that stylish purple pin-stripe and matching pimp hat I've always been interested in.

Hilarious, but only because Matt Samia belittles the lame questions he's being asked.

I walked home without a coat today. My window is currently all the way open. It's overcast with big fluffy grey clouds, but the sun dropped down below them on my walk and was a glorious summer red colour.
