Finally got my old 8GB drive to work with my new machine. For some twisted reason, it will only work when plugged into the secondary master, regardless of the proper switch placements.
Right now I'm copying the almost 8 gigs of information onto my new drive (still have 56 gigs free) and then I'm going to unplug it and hide it for that day when someone's drive dies and they need to use their computer right away.
If I hold onto it for a few more years, I may be able to sell it to a museum.
