I played the much anticipated UFO: Aftermath demo (post release).
I was very disappointed.
Mostly, I was frustrated by the poor interface and control. They also added 'roleplaying' features (just a fancier, but no more interesting version of those in UFO Defense) and removed the Macromanagement of your bases, aircraft, ect. The missions were the meat of XCOM, but all the macromanaging was the gravy.
I shed a tear for another useless XCOM product, but would like to vomit my steamy stomach juices on yet more developers that just can't make a playable game.
