No, really:
Should have a nice perk sometime around Xmas (which I might actually get off this year...another perk, I suppose) which involves taking home a 2500$ digital projector (technology site is here).
Then we will play Burnout3 on it, since Shane got it and it's one of the 3 reasons I've seen to buy a console machine this year. My only complaint, you see, is that the split-screen makes the pixelation of the TV even worse and it's pretty hard to see oncoming traffic.
With the projector, we can have a equivalent screen the size of...the entire wall. Actually, its the size of the wall in the apartment that's the limiting factor. It also has better refresh rates and truer colours than the TV too.
Unfortunately, I'd have to take the projector back and actually share it with the other 20-ish Projector people in the call center. But that's why we're getting several units.
In conclusion: when I have a house (re: rich like a Nazi), I'll be getting a projector instead of a TV.
Still waiting for the WoW open beta to freakin' start. GAWD.
